There was further success  on day 2 of the county track and field.  Louise Kingston won bronze in the U15 200m, Niamh McCarthy also won bronze in the U11 600m and Cian O’Neill was first in the U16 3k walk.  There was fourth place finishes for Jack Hennigan in U9 300m, Keith McCarthy in U10 turbo javelin, Maeve O’Neill in U12 sprint and high jump, Peter Collins in U14 200m, James Pabio in U14 long jump, Conor O’Neill U15 discus and Cian O’Neill in U16 shot.  Michael o Donovan qualified for the U14 sprint final and Ciara Hurley qualified for the U14 200m final.  Also competing on the day were Nina O’Donovan, Maebh McCarthy, Isla MnNarthy, Shauns Hurley, Rory McCarthy, Jason Murray, Patrick Collins, Grace Nyhan,  Rachel McCarthy, Carrie McCarthy, Ava Murray, Margaret Collins, Shey Pyett, Jack McCarthy, Michael Thornbury, Aife O’Neill and Adam O’Donovan.
